Derek THUGHESPassed in peace Friday, November 9th 2018 at the age of 69. Derek was born November 24th 1948 to Reginald and Edna Hughes in Birmingham. He was a devoted husband to Marina, loving father to Sarah and Darren, proud grandfather of Sofia, Camran and Andy and family members to Imran, Jo and Chris. Derek spent his working life as a painter and decorator in the building trade and his retirement enjoying the various modes of transport Birmingham has to offer. He supported local sport especially his beloved Birmingham Brummies Speedway. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 28th November at Robin Hood Crematorium at 12:30pm.
